Quansheng is one of China's leading handheld transceiver manufacturers - their TG-UV2 dual bander was the first Chinese handheld of its kind to achieve CE certification back in 2008.

The UV-K5(8) has been making waves in the Amateur radio community worldwide, thanks to its upgradeable and modifiable firmware.

The UV-K5(8) is CE- and FCC-approved and ROHS compliant. Key features include a robust black & grey plastic housing, an excellent dual band antenna measuring approximately 175 mm in length, USB-C charging capability and a 7.2 V lithium-ion battery with a 1600 mAh rating.  

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE UV-K5(8) IS SUPPLIED WITH A TWO-PIN EURO STYLE PLUG. A TWO-TO-THREE-PIN ADAPTER (SUCH AS A SHAVER ADAPTER) IS REQUIRED FOR USE IN THE UK.
